The City of Quincy, through its Office of Healthy Homes, administers several housing programs to provide assistance to low-income homeowners and renters in Quincy.
Housing Rehabilitation Program
provides 0% interest, deferred payment loans to qualifying homeowners for necessary repairs and improvements to keep the home safe and habitable.
South Shore Healthy Homes Program
provides 5-year forgivable loans to qualifying homeowner, tenant or landlord to reduce the dangers of lead and other hazards in the home.
First Time Homebuyer Program
provides 0% interest, deferred payment loans to qualifying households that are purchasing a single-family home, condominium, or townhouse in Quincy, Braintree, Holbrook, or Weymouth.

One Step at a Time
Our trained staff will pre-qualify you for assistance, help you complete the application, provide free Housing Quality Standard (HQS) and lead paint inspections, help you determine what work needs to be done, and discuss temporary living arrangements if relocation is required while the work is being performed, and monitor the work to ensure quality construction
